This policy explains how Al-Zawraa Central Laboratory for Pathological Analyses ("we") handles data in the LabLink apps and admin website (Lab app, Courier app, Admin app).

1. Data we collect

• Lab account data: lab name, manager name, phone, email, address, lab license photo and facade photo.
• Location: the lab's coordinates at registration, and the courier's location during a shift and while handling an order, to track pickups and give directions.
• Medical order data: patient name, requested tests, prescription images when uploaded, and final test results.
• Operational data: order status, barcodes, pickup and handover records, support chats and complaints, and security logs.
• Device permissions: camera (prescription photos, barcode scanning), Bluetooth (label printing), and notifications if enabled.

2. How we use it

To manage orders, transport samples, issue results, handle billing and reconciliation, support users, and protect the platform. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• The ordering laboratory and the courier assigned to its order, only as needed to fulfil the order.
• Authorized staff of the central laboratory.
• Authorities where legally required.
• Maps: OpenStreetMap tiles to display the in-app map, and Waze or Google Maps when a courier taps the navigation button. Only the lab's destination coordinates are sent, never patient data.

4. Security

Connections use HTTPS, access is role-based, uploaded files are scanned for malware, and backups are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we keep improving our safeguards.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep medical and financial records for as long as needed for operations, audit and Iraqi health-regulation requirements. You can request account deactivation or deletion on the deletion request page; records we must retain may be kept.

6. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at info@lablinkapp.org.

7. Children

The platform is intended for laboratories and authorized staff and is not directed at children.
